Homeowners observed substantial frozen pellets reaching sizes of 7cm in certain regions. Weather authorities confirmed that various areas across the state had been hit with large hailstones.

Victorian Climate Difficulties
Simultaneously, approximately one thousand residents in the southern state also experienced energy failures after the capital city saw its wettest day in 18 months.
State Emergency Services responded to nearly 600 emergency reports across the state, mainly for building damage but also for downed trees and water accumulation.

At one point on yesterday, over 28k electricity consumers in the state were lacking electricity.
Meteorological Predictions
Humid circumstances were forecast to persist along much of eastern Queensland this next several days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
Tuesday was forecast to be the most rainy day, with persistent thunderstorm potential anticipated across different parts of both states.
Medical Alert
Medical authorities warned that there was an higher risk of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.
This caution comes after previous incidents where similar conditions led to substantial respiratory problems in the region.
