AC Shadows Unveils Bizarre Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that defies traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The plot features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret group.
The adventure centers on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an special katana in addition to numerous items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
